Body Bandit
Clap your hands
until they fall off
fold them into a napkin
politely break dance
on your own cerebellum
with spiked heel razors
with sharp panther leather
with a punctured candy heart
oh pack your bags
& scribble a goodbye letter
with gasoline ink
you gas huffer
let your human shell
bend in half
like a jackknife
stained with red jelly
and bloated
with dirty helium --
it's like that y'all.

the end of that piece reminds me to ask: is the lyric in "Spin Around" "i'm just a helium turtle" or "i'm just healing a turtle"? I've always wondered.
The lyrics at the beginning of the second verse of the Drunken Boat song "Spin Around" are:
"I'm just the farmer's daughter
I'm just pealing a turtle
I was holding up full of pearls
for you to see."
Hope that helps. I had to listen to the song again to remember. Damn, I hadn't heard it in awhile. It's still pretty good if I don't say so myself.
thanks, Todd. Hell yeah it holds up well. two of the best damn rock records of the 90's i'd say. and i ain't just blowin wind up yer backside!
