Snow Day

Snow makes it quiet
hides where I stood in the rain
and stared at your feet it makes
things look clean
a padded city
silent BQE
last night snow filled the bottom
of the window where I
left it open a crack
to keep it cool in here
I'll just look at it out there
until it gets dirty
until people try to walk in it
only a few footprints
no one is up
