Several years ago I saw you read some poems at Poetry House with Billy Cancel. In one of your poems, I think you said "It's not ok to eat almonds for dinner" or something like that. I frequently find myself having a handful of almonds or peanuts for dinner and I smile every time, remembering what you said, but I was wondering, do you really mean it? Do almonds not qualify as dinner? I mean, I respect your opinion and I think it's a funny thing to observe, and it also was somewhat heartening to know that maybe I'm not the only one in the world standing in my kitchen eating a handful of nuts, thinking "well, this might be it, this might be my dinner." Thank you. Smiles and Good Cheer, Jeff Benjamin
