Curious Poem

This is one of the really curious situations
she got herself into. Then she said
so. She told us about her situation
as she took swigs of Kikkoman Soy Sauce.
It drained the water from her brain. She
was confused. She was doing some angry shop vacuuming
and busted her finger. She was angry at
the contractor or something about a leak
in the basement or some trouble she was
having at work. She didn't say. She had a metal
splint on her finger that picked up the radio
when she pressed it against her phone.
"I have met the new monster," she said.
Now all I have to do is listen to her
finger and I know what to wear tonight.
