It takes a lifetime to live a life
and when it's done it's just done
you stick a fork in the cheek
that once got kissed turn to say hello
but it's dusty and stinky
thrown over a barrel with a sweet
vinegar smell this is what dying feels
like you won't even have time to say
what bands you liked growing up
because it's all a big farce anyway
and when I do whatever
I do I'll wish I could swallow
something anything that could turn
my body into a mist a red vapor
of shame a last daylight sparkle
laughing like an ass without a clue.
